KNIFE Mag Publisher Mark Zalesky goes viral in Bowie Knife interview

    By H. Clay Aalders March 29, 2022
    Mark Zalesky Bowie Knives

We here at KNIFE Magazine love print. There will never be a replacement for the tactile pleasure of actually holding a print issue in one’s hands, flipping pages, and perusing the beautiful photography and articles you won’t find anywhere else. Online on the other hand is “smaller than life”, despite the other advantages it might have.

That said, video reaches different folks in different ways, and it has advantages of its own. Late last year, KNIFE Magazine Publisher Mark Zalesky gave an interview to the Antique Bowie Knife Channel. It has taken off over the past couple of months, with more than 14k views on a channel that only has 333 subscribers. That is amazing reach, which means the video has connected with people.

    Check it out for yourself.

This is awesome, such fascinating history, especially love Mark’s commentary, “STICKING KNIVES”. The Anti-Garotte piece was mind boggling as well. Had never heard the term before, the design of those was really interesting!

Enjoyable video. I like that Mark “sticks” to facts . . . this was a six-minute primer on dirks and bowies. Kudos!
