For those unaware, Kansept is one of the second-generation Chinese knife companies that have been nipping at the heels and in some cases surpassing the OG’s of Chinese knife industry. It was founded by a group folks who cut their teeth working for other companies, and who struck out with dreams of doing it better. I have known one of their key team members, Joyce Jiang, for almost a decade at this point, since back when I was Editor at TTAK, and Joyce was working for Kizer.
The Tuckamore is Kansept’s newest release, reaching dealers this month. It is designed by Canadian Maker Jonathan Styles, and features a premium CPM20V sheepsfoot blade and multiple Shred carbon fiber and micarta handle options. You can find out more here at the Kansept Website.
Jared Neeves got an early sample and is calling it Kansept’s best model yet?
