When I announced the revival of my “5 from the Grinder” interview series, I didn’t anticipate the runaway response. I already have several weeks of submissions which you all have turned in. For a while I will probably run two a week, as we get it off the ground, but that still means it could be a few weeks before we can post what has been submitted. So I have an idea.
As new entries come in, I will share an Instagram shot of the submitting knifemaker to the newsfeed. It is a way to acknowledge your submission, and an excuse to give you another plug. Seems like a win all around.
Michael West is a Danish maker. I appreciate the sleek Scandinavian aesthetic of his knives.
