As with all other things, a high-quality knife usually comes with a high price tag. Your sub-$30 Big 5 sale knife will still cut, but not as sharply as the corners cut when it comes to durability, steel quality, and handle materials. Cold Steel has been a big name in the knife world for a long time, and their trusted name garners prices of at least a bill. To make their knives more attainable, or at least make you cry less when you beat them up, Cold Steel has introduced their Pro Lite series, made up of three new folders.
Strange that Cold Steel’s PR folks didn’t give us a heads up on this one. They have been pretty on the ball with the Engage and Atlas Lock stuff.
