DESCRIPTION:The Spirit of the Blade Show is a 2 day knife show designed to serve the knife making/collecting community. All knives displayed will be 100 percent custom/ handmade. \n12-5 PM Friday\, 9-5 PM Saturday \nFeaturing over 75 makers & suppliers of all styles from Ohio\, many surrounding states & Canada\, “Where there’s smoke” BBQ Food Truck\, Photography by Mitchell Cohen. \nCollectors\, knife makers\, blade enthusiasts\, sportsmen and anyone interested in the custom knife community are encouraged to attend. We hope to present a wide variety of knives\, cutting edge items\, knife making related materials\, parts\, equipment and 0ther supplies. \nThere will be raffles and door prizes. DESCRIPTION:Hosted By Southern Ohio Forge and Anvil \nA Full Weekend of Information for Bladesmiths of All Levels\nTalks and demonstrations will Include beginner\, intermediate and advanced topics\, offering learning opportunities for fledgling forgers to Master Bladesmiths. \nAndrew Meers demonstrating Damascus\, Nick Rossi demonstrating Forging & Grinding\,\nBurt Foster demonstrating Kitchen Knives\, Bill Rupel demonstrating Folding Knives\,\nSteve Rapp demonstrating Silver Wrap Sheaths & Handles\, Tim Zowada demonstrating Straight Razors\, with many more to be announced. \nTesting for Journeyman and Master Bladesmith Certification\nA time slot will be set aside for those wishing to do performance testing for Journeyman or Master Bladesmith. With the number of qualified Master Bladesmiths that will be present\, the American Bladesmith Society (ABS) is making this event an official judging venue where Journeyman Smith and Master Smith applicants will be able to submit their finished knives for judging and be awarded JS and MS certification. With this event the ABS can offer our members a more affordable\, and less stressful\, environment for the certification process\, from performance test to judging and the awarding of the stamps\, all in one location.  \nKnife Show\nAll registered attendees are invited to have a table at a one-day knife show at this event. Tell all of your collector friends not to miss out on the knives that will be at this show. \nThis Event Will Be Big!\nThe Southern Ohio Forge & Anvil Blacksmith Assoc. and the Miami County Fairgrounds offers facilities that are second to none. This unique venue allows for multiple events to take place in different locations on the grounds and has onsite camping for both tent and RV. \nTHE PLACE TO BE IN 2023!!
