Full disclosure: Thanks largely to my general discomfort with what I’ll call “stabby knives,” I’ve personally long balked at the notion of carrying a blade for self-defense.
However, during a recent conversation with one of my nieces, she casually mentioned that she totes a Vosteed Raccoon I had gifted her (for camping) every time she goes running.
I am not the biggest fan of tactical first knives, but this is a proven design and I like the ergonomics.
