For the uninitiated, Buck typically bestows its “Buck of the Month” designation upon a fresh treatment of an existing knife with a proven pedigree.
The formula is clearly a winner; this past April, Buck celebrated the release of its 100th BOTM, an impressive milestone for a tradition dating back to 2018.
It shows no signs of slowing down, either, as the latest drop looks like one of the strongest to date, a darkly dazzling, tactically inspired spin on the 662 Alpha Scout Elite.
I like the 662. I have had one for years and it occasionally sees fixed blade EDC use. Not what I would call a “tactical” knife, but “tactical” is a verb, not an adjective.
