When it was announced earlier this year, Montana Knife Company’s first-ever folding knife made quite the stir. Despite its promised premium materials and build, the just-under-$400 rubbed some EDC enthusiasts the wrong way.
After its initial release on June 4th sold through within days, it was clear any misgivings about the MSRP didn’t stop MKC’s fans from devouring The Montana’s stock.
The 7.6-inch liner lock folding knife impressed EDC fans with its 3.25-inch stonewash Magnacut steel blade, composite scales with a 3D-milled micro-texture, titanium hardware and a custom deep-carry clip with flat-head screws set flush.
Now, the impressive EDC folder is set to make its return.
I haven’t played with it personally. I have heard mixed reviews. Most people can’t get beyond a $400 MSRP that represents the Joe Rogan tax, paid by non-knife fanboys of the podcaster.
