The StrongArm is probably the most (justifiably) successful knife Gerber has released in my time in the industry. THe original came out in the GWOT era and was more of a fighting oriented knife. Later came the Camp version, with a more utilitarian outdoor knife profile. Now they are upgrading it to…wait for it…MagnaCut!
I tease because it is a bit of a cliche at this point. But MagnaCut earns its plaudits.
It is press day tomorrow. This is nothing earthshaking, but I have been slacking on the newsfeed as I have been working on my Knife News column. I usually don’t bite on Gerber’s frequent emails, but this one made the cut.
