“C.R. Akers Co. Indianapolis, Ind. Made in Germany” is stamped on the back of the tang. Located at 232 N.Illinois Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, Akers dealt in barber supplies. Prior to 1930, they were Akers Britton Company, and they became Akers & Parrott Company in 1935.
