Located at 142 Russ Street, corner of Lawrence, Hartford, Connecticut. Charles E. Billings was president and superintendent. He was granted patents on a knife-pistol in 1868, a sliding blade knife March 15, 1892, and on a butterfly type knife in 1908. The company specialized in drop forgings, and the knives were made from about 1869 to 1914.
