IMPERIAL KNIFE ASSOCIATED COMPANIES INC.

During WWII, Imperial began an association with the Ulster Knife Company. In 1947, Schrade Cutlery joined the association, known as the Imperial Knife Associated Companies Incorporated. In 1977, the Imperial Association gained control over the Rogers-Wostenholm Company of Sheffield, England. They also control Richards of Sheffield, Stag Cutlery Ltd. of Ireland, and two Imperial firms located in Germany and Canada.

Frontier is one of their latest lines, and is a well-built knife made in Providence since about 1975. In addition to the Imperial Knife Company trademarks, the Association also used the following trademarks on pocket knives:
