Young was established in 1843, and by 1885 had the largest stock of hardware goods in the Lehigh Valley. They were wholesale dealers in hardware, iron, steel, nails, horseshoes, chains, and cutlery. Young was at 740 Hamilton, and 11-15 South Eighth Streets, Allentown, Pennsylvania. Reuben P. Steckel, Edward B. Young, Joseph Young, and Robert Steckel were the directors.
