William Thomas Staniforth had his business at 26 Edmund Road, Old Mill Cottage, Sheffield, England. He made all types of edge tools and cutlery. About 1906, John Walter Biggins gained control. It was in the Ascend Works, Arundel Street, Sheffield at that time. In 1953, the trademarks wings and “Ascend” were owned by W.K. Peace & Company.
