KNIFE Magazine November 2026 Issue Preview

Hey folks, I dropped the ball. My November issue arrived late last week, but I was getting ready to coach in a weekend lacrosse tournament, and upon my return Sunday, I had to finish the Knife News column for December.

But I am back, and here is a look inside the November 2026 issue.

I know I always say that it is a great issue, but I am particularly biased because my feature on Shawn Houston (Triple B Handmade) is in this one. We also have an article on one of the interesting people in the industry, Emily Krastev of Emily’s Casting Crafts. She is an artist, and her medium is resin. She makes some of the most beautiful handle scales out there.

That isn’t to minimize the contributions of our Military Knives Editor Frank Trzaska, Willson Offutt’s Field Trial, or Mark Remcheck’s article on Iron City Knives, which are equally fabulous.

We have all our regular features as well, Knife Rights, AKTI, Bruce Voyles, KnifeMaker’s Guild, and our World Famous “Artistry in Knives”. This month also is Mark’s official debut in the Whut Izzit? column. Long-time columnist Bernard Levine has retired from the magazine.
