I agree with his assertion that the Opinel does not belong on a “Top 5” list of EDC knives, unless you are talking purely about iconic status.
He doesn’t pull any punches. I am not nearly so negative. I like my opinels. I carry them regularly, but to his point, it is my secondary or even tertiary knife.
