NYP: Sword yoga is the hot, new fitness trend turning NYC women into swashbuckling fighters

Katya Saturday is all up in arms.

But the no-nonsense New Yorker isn’t angry — she’s empowered through “sword yoga.”

And a steel, 30-inch, double-edged blade, named “Golden Hour,” is her preferred instrument of independence.

“It’s a tool of self-expression and freedom,” Saturday, 25, exclusively told The Post. “The sword is like a magic wand that gives me a sense of graceful power.”

“When I hold it, I feel like a force of femininity, beauty and strength,” added the force-to-be-reckoned-with, one in the rising army of everyday dynamos leading the sword yoga fitness charge.

I think that Lisa has been doing a bit of this.

On a side note, AI image generation has gotten really good. Every time I have been dinged by a copyright troll, it has been when I took an image from a news piece. So the cover image is generated. I am impressed.

While I was playing with image generation, I entered the following prompt…

“Ok, now make an image, cartoon style, of what could go wrong at sword yoga. Gory, but cartoony, and funny”

Grok obliged, but note, I did not specify what/where the injuries would be.
