Dedicated to the Hobby of Knife Collecting since 1973 – knife collectors and craftsmen welcome!
If you enjoy the fellowship of other people who like collecting, buying, selling, displaying, or crafting and trading knives of all kinds, then you are cordially invited to join the Chattahoochee Cutlery Club.
We were founded in 1973 with the purpose of promoting knowledge of and interest in the hobby of knife collecting. We are the oldest continuously existing local knife club in the USA. The Club was formally chartered by the National Knife Collectors and Dealers Association in 1976 – in the 200th year of American liberty.
Our dues are $25.00 per year as a voting member. A family membership is available for only $40 with one vote. Several of our members enjoy this activity as couples. Your Membership includes our monthly newsletter, 11 meetings per year, and the opportunity to purchase our annual limited edition Club Knife. We also have special events throughout the year. New members paying dues for the first time during the last two months of any year, carry over their membership without further cost for the next full year.
We meet the fourth Monday of each month at 6:30 P.M. in the Georgia Power, Tucker Operating Headquarters building classroom at 1697 Montreal Circle, Tucker, Georgia. Go to the Calendar page to check for our next meeting date (May 23rd 2016).
The Georgia Power building is located just inside Interstate 285 and right off Lawrenceville Highway. Turn right onto Montreal Road W (the first right off Lawrenceville Highway if you are coming in from 1-285), take the next right (almost immediately) onto Montreal Circle and follow the road around to the big Self Storage sign, where you turn left. Go one block, to the last building on the right which is well marked. Enter the classroom door on the left side of the building. Come a little early at 6:30 PM for some knife and story swapping and enjoy some refreshments.
Attendance is not a membership requirement. We have many out-of-town, out-of-state and even out-of-country members. But if you can, please join in the fellowship and fun at our meetings each month. We’ll all learn something together every time we meet.
We welcome visitors and young people. Your interest is appreciated. You are invited to join and we hope to see you at our next meeting. The CCC is a local club member of the National Knife Collectors Association.
