The Microtech Standard Issue (MSI) is the newest type of folding pocket knife made by Microtech.The MSI will be show for the first time at SHOT Show 2023.
Microtech are probably most famous for their automatic knives, but they make excellent folding knives as well.
According to Microtech, the MSI has been designed to become your favorite folder.
The MSI’s blade is made from an exclusive stainless steel called Bohler M390MK, which keeps its edge and resists corrosion very well.
The MSI’s handle is five inches long and made of carbon fiber scales, a steel frame, and a titanium backspacer to make the MSI lightweight, comfortable, and durable.
The MSI uses Microtech’s Ram-Lok system and the “X” button on both sides is to assure a good grip.
I think that Microtech is going to have a hit with this one. Until now, the price of Microtech knives has been a barrier to entry. The new MSI has an MSRP of $250, which means it should be available in the $225-$230 range on the street. This is an important price point for the mass market.
