As the longest running monthly print publication in the industry, one of the least pleasant tasks that falls to us it to be the bearer of sad news. I opened Instagram today, and discovered that Chuck Cook has passed.
I missed when he announced that he was suffering from an aggressive brain cancer, and unfortunately succumbed this past week. It is quite a bummer. He was a great maker, and an even nicer guy. I am going to miss the regular Blade Show chats.
Chuck was a runner up on Forged in Fire, a member of the Knifemakers Guild, and even participated in our 5 from the Grinder series…
He leaves behind a family, and a heck of a physical legacy behind.
