GearPatrol: Benchmade Mini-Narrows set for release

The result was a super steel-bladed, titanium-framed beauty that’s 33 percent thinner than the brand’s best-selling Bugout, with two times the break strength and a weight of just 2.4 ounces. The effort did not go unnoticed, as at the industry’s biggest event, Blade Show.

How could Benchmade possibly follow that up? With a sequel that’s even more compact and light, of course. Mark your calendar, as two weeks from now brings the launch of the Benchmade Mini Narrows.

I don’t think that ditching the Omega spring had as much to do with weight as it was to make it thinner overall.
