There are at least two different models of German made unauthorized Russell barlow knives. The first has black handles, and has “Germany” stamped deep in the tang. This knife was made in small quantities. The second model has bone handles, and “Germany” is stamped in ink on the back of the tang. Both regular, and daddy barlows were made in the second model.
