This firm was founded by William Schoolhorn and Frank W. Tiesing, on Wooster corner of Wallace Street, New Haven, Connecticut. Mr. Tiesing died in 1883, and his widow sold her interest in the firm to Julius Berbecker in 1884. They became William Schoolhorn & Company at that time. Their products were marked “S.&T. CO.” inside a star.
