This marking was seen on a switchblade knife. Arthur Voss & Company was a New York City importer at 381 Fourth Avenue. Before WWII, Voss was manager of the J.A. Henckels firm, importers of Bertram knives. In 1945, he started Voss Cutlery Co., and imported knives from Germany. The knives were made by Bertram and Robert Klaas.
