Howdy Folks. Welcome to the annual Black Friday/Cyber Monday thread, coming to you Thanksgiving Thursday. I hope all of you are having a wonderful day. We are a bit late to the party this year, as retailers have started advertising “Black Friday” for the better part of a month.
The way this will work is that there will be an initial thread with several deal pages from around the retail-sphere, and then I will be updating throughout the day and weekend as new sales come in, or come into effect. The newest will be at the top of the list.
There will also be a sprinkling of Black Friday memes scattered throughout for your viewing enjoyment. So without further ado, lets enjoy the tryptophan buzz and get to window shopping…
I know it is a bit obscure, but “JapaneseChefs Knife.Com (JCK) was established in 2003, as the direct online sales division of The Kencrest Corporation. JCK stocks a wide range of traditional Japanese Chef’s knives from top quality Japanese brands and offers them for sale direct from Japan, at lower than Japanese retail prices. The Kencrest Corporation has been in the knife export business for over 50 years and is based in Seki-City, Gifu Prefecture; a Japanese knife making capital where fine knives are produced using Samurai sword making traditions that date back over 800 years”. From my limited online poking around, they are legitimate, and their selection is pretty nice. $10 shipping to USA.
I have known Craig, the proprietor of Empire since meeting him at my first Blade Show back in 2014. Not super familiar with Black Triangle, but it always good to support small business this time of year.
That’s a wrap for Round 2. Look for another update this afternoon or evening. Keep scrolling to see the original list.
While not a true “Black Friday” promotion, BladeHQ is running several brand specific sales at the link above. They have a Black Friday livestream scheduled for 1pm, which will almost certainly have some pretty special deals.
That’s about it for now, but expect much more throughout the coming days. Remember, the newest updates are closest to the top.
