Knife Magazine August 2020

Knife Magazine August 2020 Sneak Peek

It is hard to believe that the summer is mostly over, and August is upon us. It feels like we have been stuck in a holding pattern since early Spring. But time marches on, even when we aren’t, and it is time to share the cover and tables of content for the new issue, which will be arriving in subscriber mailboxes in the coming weeks.

This month’s cover story is absolutely fascinating, I loved getting to see it come together, including when the example of a suicide needle was in the office to photograph. It is a little bit of a stretch to call it a “knife” but we hope you indulge our little digression.

Fret not dear reader, there is plenty of undeniable knife content as well. There is R. Scott Decker’s article on the history of the Cotton Sampler pattern, a DIY aritcle on handle inlays by John Miller, my review the Ben Petersen/WE Knives Banter, and much more.

Our regular columnists have been hard at works as well, with great pieces by J. Bruce Voyles, Bernard Levine, Knife Rights, AKTI, ABS, and others.
