KnifeNews: Demko Knives Gives First Glimpse at New Sub-$100 Shark-Cub

Demko Knives just revealed a new, budget-oriented version of their Shark-Cub folder. Changes to the handle material and blade steel make this the most affordable folder yet from Demko Knives.

We were first introduced to the Shark-Cub around Halloween ’23. It was a more compact take on the rugged, durable folder concept that Demko Knives earned renown for with the release of the production AD20.5. Like the AD20.5, the Shark-Cub benefited from the presence of Andrew Demko’s Shark Lock, one of several ultra-tough locking mechanisms from the maker. Back in 2022 Demko told us the Shark Lock was designed to be easy to use, and highly durable; after a few years on the market the user response would indicate that it lives up to that goal.

This thing is going to sell like hot-cakes.  I ca only imagine the stampede had they released it at Blade Show.
