KnifeNews: GiantMouse Nazca Opts for MagnaCut in Latest Limited Edition

The run of GiantMouse special editions continues with a new Nazca release. This varietal’s headline features are the carbon fiber handle construction and (you guessed it) a MagnaCut blade.

First released in the summer of 2022, the Nazca was notable for having an Axislike as its locking mechanism. To this day it is still the only GiantMouse model with such a lock, which allows it to be completely ambidextrous and, of course, has that particular flavor of fidget factor that comes only with Axislike deployment. Besides what was going on under the hood, the Nazca was also a stylistic departure for GiantMouse designers Jens Anso and Jesper Voxnaes; the almost piratical harpoon blade fell in line with prior GiantMouse EDCs in terms of utility, but it looked unlike any other knife in the lineup.

They have been busy. The fact that it is made by Bestech surprises me. I thought that there was an embargo on Magnacut being provided to China.
