The Case 6265 and its Cousins- A Classic Wilderness Pro’s Knife

A few years ago a reader sent the magazine I was editing at the time a battered old Case 6265 two-blade folding hunter. The story that went with the knife was that it was found on the ground near a fire ring in a “hobo camp.” As a rule, I would say a 6265 is a little nicer folder than that I would expect a hobo to own but this knife had definitely seen better days.
