Win this Wolfgang Loerchner custom folder

    By Mark Zalesky April 21, 2021May 28, 2021

We have given away some pretty spectacular knives in the past couple of years, but never a pair like this in succession. Today we are announcing the winner of the Gaetan Beauchamp scrimshawed knife, and kicking off our Wolfgang Loerchner giveaway.

As the teaser says, we will be drawing for this knife at the Blade Show in Atlanta, though you do not need to be present to win. You can enter now by visiting our entry page: www.knifemagazine.com/loerchner/. Everyone gets one entry. Print Subscribers and Premium Online Members automatically get a second and potentially third entry for each of those.

If you are going to attend Blade Show, you can even register in person at the KNIFE Magazine Booth for another bonus entry. That’s right, if you are a print subscriber, online member, and Blade Show attendee, you can get a maximum of 4 entries to this drawing. More details to follow.

Before we examine Wolfe’s knife more closely, I would like to congratulate Jeffrey C. who is our winner of the Beauchamp knife.

Jeff’s win marks the first time that our winner has been neither a subscriber or online member. All it takes is one entry if you are lucky enough. I will be reaching out to Jeffrey, and get his knife on the way to him.

    Now, back to the Loerchner.

We covered Wolfgang and his daughter Elizabeth as the cover article in our June 2020 issue.

Like Father, Like Daughter – Knifemakers Wolfgang and Elizabeth Loerchner

We have made that article public, so check it out if you are not familiar with their work, or even if you are and would like to know more about the artists.

This is the first non-flipper liner-lock that Wolfe has ever made and it is a beauty.

    Rules:

All registrants for the contest get ONE entry.

Knife Magazine Print Subscribers will get an additional  entry if they select yes below

KnifeMagazine.com Premium Online members will also get an additional entry if they select yes below.

(All subscriptions and memberships are verified by our staff.)

The maximum number of entries for any individual is three four (free, print, online, Blade Show), provided all criteria is met.

Entries made past June 3rd online will be excluded from the competition.  If you are at the blade show, you may register at the show — see our table for details and conditions.

International readers are eligible to enter, though they are responsible for shipping and Customs. Domestic US shipping is on us.

Wait!  Before you enter, we would like to give you the option to purchase a Premium Online Membership at a discount and get that second entry!  Click here to purchase, and use code loerchner to save 25%… then come back to this form and finish your entry!  (The purchase link opens in a new tab, so you won’t lose this one.)

So be sure to register today. This knife is valued at approximately $4000, and would make an exquisite addition to anyone’s collection.

      This knife is beautiful.
My most costly knife so far is a Sebenza.
