The Aegis FLK is a budget friendly (MSRP $30) flipper version of their popular thumb-stud Aegis folder, which retail for $80 or more.

Personal Observations:

The Aegis FLK is a fun knife to play with. It is comfortable in the hand, and the manual flipping action snaps open with a satisfying clack. It unlocks and closes smoothly. I am extremely impressed with the fit and finish on this budget import. The centering is better than knives costing 5 times as much.

Outside Review:

The SOG Aegis FLK is pretty new, so I was unable to find an outside review, but the original Aegis was well received as these two reviews attest.

A big thank you to the folks at SOG Knives. It is one thing for a company to send you knives to test and review. It is another entirely to send us knives to give away in an effort to build buzz about our website relaunch. We are truly grateful for the support.
