Hello People of the Knife, hope your day is going well.
It is almost September, which means that this month’s print issue will be arriving immanently in subscribers’ mailboxes.
I really enjoyed reading Simon Moore’s cover article on the History of Folding Knives when I was proofreading, and picked up a nugget or 3 of new knolwedge to file away. Jim Sornberger is back, regaling us with more stories of his travels and knifemaking in Cambodia. M. Willson Offutt’s Field Trial of the Kershaw Livewire reveals a solid EDC. I had never heard of “Felt Knives” until reading Dennis Ellingson’s article, and Frank Karl brings the story of a unique knife design from Raider Creek.
All our regular columns are back as well.
I will update this post when the online digital version of the entire September 2024 issue is available for our Premium Online Subscribers.
Not a Premium Member, it is just $19.95/year, and give you access to 40 years of Knife World and KNIFE Magazine archives, as well as other Member’s only reference material.
